Recommended Free Spyware Remover

Got a problem from spyware?!
You can get rid of it easily for free..

There are many free spyware remover but every product have their own advantage and disadvantage..
So, I'll try to help by giving a list of free spyware remover which recommended by myself..

These recommendation is mainly based on what I reviewed from other reviews (user and reviewer) and the produt reviews itself..

1. Trend Micro Hijack This
Trend Micro Hijack This is a very great spyware remover, but it can be very complicated to use which not suited for beginners.

2. Spyware Terminator
Spyware Terminator is a spyware remover has included optional anti-virus in it. It also has fast scan option which scans only the critical parts of computer which can save a lot of time, and real time protection which will protect the system from spyware being installed in the first place.

3. Spybot Search and Destroy
Spybot Search and Destroy is great spyware remover and has real time protection too. But, it isn't provided with fast scan option and antivirus.

4. Comodo BOClean Anti-Malware
Comodo BOClean Anti-Malware is also a great spyware remover like the other, but it seems to lack of user using it.

5. Ad-Aware 2007 Free
Ad-Aware 2007 Free is a decent spyware remover. It has a smart (fast) scan option, but don't have a real time protection. But if you upgrade it into Ad-Aware 2007 Plus or Pro you can get the real time protection and other features that Ad-Aware 2007 Free don't have.

Tips: I recommend that you using two or more spyware remover, one as the main spyware remover (better if it has real time protection) and the other one as backup spyware remover. And scan your computer using the main spyware remover daily or weekly and the backup spyware remover weekly or monthly.

Indonesia ends YouTube block after protests: web providers

Indonesia's main Internet providers said Friday they have restored access to YouTube and other sites carrying a controversial anti-Islam film following "overwhelming" protests from web users.

The move comes just days after web providers here blocked the sites at the government's request, sparking a storm of complaints.

The government is facing accusations of censorship over the ban, which many small business owners say is affecting their livelihoods.

Internet providers said they would instead try block access to individual pages carrying the film, "Fitna."

"Access to YouTube and several other sites has been re-opened after Internet providers received overwhelming protests from users," Heru Nugroho, of the Indonesian Internet providers' association, told AFP.

"We discussed the complaints with the ministry and they agree with us," he added. No comment was immediately available from the communications ministry.

Access to the popular video-sharing site YouTube and the social networking site MySpace were blocked on Tuesday following protests against the film, which intersperses images of terrorist attacks with quotes from the Koran.

The Alliance of Independent Journalists said the move amounted to censorship, comparing it to "destroying a restaurant to kill a fly," while the Jakarta Post in an editorial Friday called it "dumb and dangerous."

"Indonesia's commitment to freedom of expression and the right to information, both of which are guaranteed in the constitution, are now being put in doubt," the daily said.

Nugroho said many Indonesian small business owners were also affected by the blocking of YouTube and Multiply.com, a networking site.

"Many of our users use YouTube or Multiply for their business," he said.

"We will block direct links to the web pages that have the film. It's the film we are concerned with, not YouTube."

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has banned screenings of "Fitna" and barred the Dutch lawmaker behind it from entering Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation.

Security on your PC

Adware and Spyware

Adware
Adware is software that presents banner ads or in pop-up windows through a bar that appears on a computer screen. Those advertising spots usually can't be removed and are consequently always visible. These advertisements create revenue for the software developer and are provided with initial consent from the user.

Spyware
Spyware refers to programs that gather and transmit the user's personal details or behavior to a third party, often without the user's knowledge or consent. Spyware is designed to expolit infected computers for commerical gain. Typical tactics furthering this goal include delivery of unsolicited pop-up advertisements.
